'Page Not Found' error when trying to activate my student NetMail account
  Question

Why do I get a 'Page Not Found' error when I try to activate my student NetMail account?

  Answer

In order to protect your personal information, the student NetMail activation process requires certain security settings on your Web browser (SSL 3.0 128 bit encryption). If your Web browser does not support or has not enabled this level of security, a 'Page Not Found' error message will be given.

If you get this error message, please do the following:

  • Go to the eConnect Browser PC/Checklist to find out what version browser you are currently using and if a change is recommended.
  • If the result does not indicate that a browser change is required, make sure SSL 3.0 is enabled on your browser. For Internet Explorer users, on the browser toolbar, go to:
    • Tools
    • Internet Options - or - Options
    • Advanced
    • Under the Security section, make sure the box next to "Use SSL 3.0" is checked
