Your NetMail user name is the first part of your e-mail address before the "@." If your e-mail address is jqdoe89@netmail.dcccd.edu, your NetMail username is jqdoe89.

NetMail e-mail addresses consist of:  the first initial of your first name + the first initial of your middle name + your full last name + the last two numbers of your Social Security number, followed by "@netmail.dcccd.edu." For example, if your name is John Q. Doe and your SSN is 123-45-6789, your NetMail e-mail address is: jqdoe89@netmail.dcccd.edu.

If you do not have a middle name, an “x” will be used in place of your middle name initial. So, if your name is John (no middle name) Doe and your SSN is 123-45-6789, your NetMail e-mail address is: jxdoe89@netmail.dcccd.edu.
