  Financial aid suspension
  Question
What is a financial aid suspension?
  Answer

Students who apply for financial aid but have not satisfied the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy are suspended from receiving financial aid. The SAP must be satisfied regardless of whether you have previously received financial aid. Financial Aid students are responsible for knowing and complying with the SAP.

You may follow established procedures to appeal a financial aid suspension.

A financial aid suspension does not prohibit you from registering for classes, but it does prevent you from receiving financial aid to pay for educational costs. A financial aid suspension is not the same as scholastic suspension.
